Eight Dawgs earn All-League football honors

Eight Bulldogs earned recognition when the 2A Central Valley Conference announced its 2018 Football All-League selections recently.
Tayler Forsman, a senior, received First Team Offense honors as a wide receiver and First Team Defense honors as a defensive back.
Jaycob Kremer, a junior, and Tyler Olson, a senior, were each named Second Team Defense as a linebacker; Gabe Hastings, a sophomore, was named Second Team Defense as a defensive lineman and Logan Johnson, a junior, was named Second Team Offense as a center and received Honorable Mention Defense as a linebacker.
Seniors Levi Bones and Nick Mullen each received Honorable Mention Defense as a defensive lineman; and Dallton Dewey, a junior, received Honorable Mention Defense as a defensive back.
Zach Young, a junior from Monroe was named the 2A Central Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year; Wil Powell, a junior from Oakland and Zach Morey, a senior from Regis were named Co-Defensive Player of the Year; and Justin Malone, a senior from Central Linn and Cristian Garcia, a senior from Monroe were named Co-Lineman of the Year.
Young received First Team Offense nods as both a running back and a punter and was named First Team Defense as a defensive back and Second Team Defense as a kicker.
Powell was named First Team Defense as a linebacker and Second Team Offense as an offensive lineman.
Morey was named First Team Defense as a defensive back and Second Team Offense as a wide receiver.
Malone was named First Team Defense as a defensive lineman and First Team Offense as a center.
Garcia was named First Team Offense as an offensive lineman and First Team Defense as a defensive lineman.
Bill Crowson, head coach of the Monroe Dragons was named 2A Central Valley Conference Coach of the Year.
