Dawgs’ soccer season ends with state playoff loss

A 0-6 shutout by second-ranked Catlin Gabel in an OSAA 3A/2A/1A boys’ soccer state playoffs match on Oct. 30 ended the 15th-ranked Creswell Bulldogs’ run at the state championships, and their season.
“Last year we played the top-ranked team in state playoffs, and that team went on to win state. We lost 1-12, so we basically cut that score in half, which we really have grown quite a bit as a team,” said Creswell Head Coach Brandi Wittenborn.
