Hilltop Bar & Grill: Oktoberfest done right

With the changing of the seasons, comes vibrant leaves, cooler temperatures and October. The month of October brings many things on its own, such as Halloween, candy, costumes, and, of course, Oktoberfest. The Hilltop Bar & Grill in Pleasant Hill celebrates this popular German beer festival with their own spin on delicious beverages.
This fall, Hilltop Bar & Grill is bringing back their Contemplator Doppelbock. Back by popular demand, this rich and wheat-y lager made with plums and a hint of chocolate was introduced several years ago, and will once again be available this fall.
Also, this fall, Honey Bock, a delicious and full-bodied beer naturally sweetened using local honey from the Beetanical Apiary will make an appearance. Hilltop is also proud to announce a brand new beer, their Propagator pale bock. More information on this recent addition is coming soon.
On Oct. 9, Hilltop Bar & Grill will host their Science Pub, which proudly funds Middle Fork Willamette Watershed Council and Friends of Buford Park. During this event, a special cider from WildCraft Cider Works will be available for those who attend.
Later in December, Hilltop is featuring their annual From the Woods Barrel-Aged Brew Fest. Local breweries are invited every year and dozens of beers are on tap. Admission includes a tasting glass and tasting tickets.
This fall’s main event at Hilltop, however, is their Brewer’s Dinner at Plank Town. More information concerning the date, menu items, cost, and other details are coming soon.
