Creswell Bakery: Great tasting food is always in season!

MIKE ROTHGEB

When restaurants, cafes and bakeries use fresh, organic and locally sourced ingredients, they understand their menu options are subject to the forces of Mother Nature. While eating establishments who import most of their ingredients may have more options, they also sacrifice quality and taste.
Local eateries like Creswell Bakery believe in quality above all else, and they understand fresh, local and high-quality ingredients are always the way to go.
As the seasons shift to cooler and shorter fall days, their menu items also make a change. Berries, which grace their menu during the spring and summer months, now take a backseat to pumpkin, apple and squash menu items.
Pumpkin is a staple of sweater-weather and the changing leaves, and Creswell Bakery proudly and effectively incorporates them into many of their classic menu items. From muffins, cookies and cinnamon rolls, to danishes, pies, and even soups, customers can enjoy the delicious flavor of pumpkin all autumn long.
Another fall favorite is apples. Apples are also making their seasonal debut at Creswell Bakery in the form of pies, danishes, muffins and more. Nothing says America like apple pie, and nothing says fall like apple-themed menu items.
Since summer is ending, and the harvest is changing, a crowd favorite, Creswell Bakery’s BLTs are leaving for the winter. Customers should stop in while they can to snag one of the last tomatoes of the season.
Even though seasonal fruits and vegetables play a big role in their menu, Creswell Bakery also features many regulars. Salads, meat and veggie pies, and delicious specialty bread are available year round.
