The 5th Street Project is approximately 85 percent completed, and should be fully complete the first part of October, said Cliff Bellew, public works director. These photos show the sidewalk installation from A Street looking south on 5th Street. The water, sewer and storm mainlines are installed, as was the road grade, curb and gutter. Most of the sidewalk was installed last week, Bellew said, and the rest of the sidewalk and asphalting of the road should be completed in the next couple of weeks.
