Creswell’s young boys cross country team competed in the JV gold division at the Saxon Invite Saturday at Bush Park in Salem.
Sophomore Brandon Moelhman finished 33rd in 19:21.03 followed by sophomore Jackson Velarde 115th (22:05.52), freshman Chance Hemenway 120th (22:28.69), sophomore Seth Handman 122nd (22:37.10) and freshman Gonzalo Cardenas 133rd (35:35.53).
In the JV girls gold race, senior Emily Garcia took 79th (29:48.10) and classmate McKenzie Traitor 82nd (31.14.38).
The Bulldogs travel to Schwartz Park near Cottage Grove Saturday for a race that includes running up the face of Dorena dam.
