Ludekes celebrate 50 years wed

Gary and Sandy Ludeke of Creswell will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a stay abound the RMS Queen Mary Hotel moored in Long Beach, Calif.
The couple were married in Detroit, Michigan on Aug. 31, 1968.
They have two married children: Tamara Burch (Greg) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Glenn Ludeke (Mellissa) of Fargo, North Dakota.
They have a total of eight grandchildren, four in Colorado and four in North Dakota.
Gary worked as an electrical engineer, transportation engineer, software development engineer and military systems engineer. Sandy worked as a medical office receptionist.
Gary currently works part-time as a certified flight instructor and does test flying of new amateur built airplanes. Sandy and he moved from Eugene to Creswell in 2007.
Gary has served the community as a planning and airport commissioner, and as the Creswell library bookkeeper and staff volunteer. He has served as vice-president and president of Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 31 based at Creswell Airport.
