Truman’s Truths – Pondering from the desk of a 9-year-old

Creswell participated in their first National Night Out! On Tuesday night we had hot dogs served by the ”Duck Truck ” and chips and Pepsi too. The Kiwanis Club gave us all of that. I even found a #CPR rock that has USMC it.
Our deputy, our librarian, Nick Caum, and another deputy, were all in a dunk tank. I sunk Nick on my second try. Also, we had an inflatable obstacle course with a giant slide.
Lots of booths, like The Chronicle, The Sheriff’s Dept. and There were lots of games like Ladder Golf and Cornhole were there too. I threw a stuffed animal in a tree hole and won a large bag of Caramel Cosmos. It was fun seeing a lot of my friends that I haven’t seen since school ended.
Even the heat couldn’t keep our town from having fun! That is it for today. I hope you had fun and I will see you next time.
