Dear Editor,
This photo was taken of an abandoned cat that was 4-years-old in a mobile home park in town. This is why people should spay and neuter their animals, and this is why more people should get involved and stop the suffering.
This cat was taken to the vet recently and had many health issues. No one seemed to care, no one would feed him, except for me. He was very starved, full of infection, had feline leukemia, was unaltered, full of bite wounds and his head suffered from possible blunt force trauma.
Why can’t our folks in our ‘friendly’ little city come together and help more? And why do so many folks look the other way? And most of all, why don’t landlords to more and enforce a spay and neuter ordinance before they rent to tenants?
