A one-week luxury Mexican villa vacation in Puerto Vallarta sold twice, for $8,000 each, to highlight Creswell Booster Club’s 14th Annual Athletic Benefit Dinner and Auction on May 12.
Saturday’s event, which included silent and oral auctions and several ”fun”draising games netted approximately $47,000 for the Creswell High School athletic program.
”We are thrilled about this total as the previous two years netted around $32,000,” said Booster Club President Patti Dimmick. ”This is huge for our athletic program and is our highest earnings yet in 14 years.”
The savings realized in the change of venue from Emerald Valley Golf & Resort to CHS helped pad auction coffers.
