Book sale a Success

Dear Editor,

The Friends of the Creswell Library want to thank everyone who helped make our recent book sale a wonderful success. Over the weekend, we raised just over $3,500, which will go toward the library’s planned expansion project.
We were especially grateful to the CHS Mr. Bulldog contestants and coordinators for their help in getting all the books moved from the library to the Community Center. Their young, energetic muscle power was much appreciated, especially by some of the older Friends involved with setting up for the sale. (And we wish the Mr. Bulldog crew much success with their upcoming April 21 pageant!)
Others who helped with the sale were some of the regular library volunteers, most of the library Board members, and many members of the Friends. And certainly all the community members who came by to shop for books need to be thanked as well. We hope you enjoy lots of good reading and will be back for more books, either at the library or at the Friends’ next sale.
We’re looking forward to having a bigger, better library here in Creswell. Thanks again to everyone involved with this sale, as it moves us ever closer to that goal.
