Creswell senior guard Trey Magnuson was named co-Player of the Year, three more Bulldogs were honored and the Bulldogs’ head coach, Jesse Thomas was named Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year when the MVC recently announced its All-League teams for the 2017-18 season.
Magnuson shared co-POY honors with Seth Waddington, a senior wing from Coquille. Senior forward Jack Callahan was also named to the MVC First Team. Senior guard Chance Bellew was named to the Second Team and sophomore guard Tyler Frieze received Honorable Mention.
Joining Magnuson, Waddington and Callahan on the All-League First Team are senior guard Henry Scolari of Coquille, junior guard Stephen Parmenter of Pleasant Hill and senior guard Clayton Farrar of Glide.
Joining Bellew on the Second Team are senior wing Colton GeDeros of Coquille, junior post Logan Pruitt of Pleasant Hill, freshman post Max Smith of Pleasant Hill, junior post Dillon Towne of Glide and senior post Giroux Gerhart of La Pine.
Receiving Honorable Mention along with Frieze were senior guard Cody Deck of Coquille, junior wing Hayden Davis of Coquille, senior guard Callan Stowell of Pleasant Hill, senior guard/post Jeremy Smith of La Pine, senior guard Bryant Baker of Harrisburg, senior post Kyle Ruckert of Harrisburg and senior guard Dillon Roark of Glide.
