St. Vincent de Paul, United Way of Lane County and the Lane County Emergency Operations Center are partnering with the grassroots organizers of the donation center currently operating at Silke Field in Springfield to provide a long-term drop-off and sorting location in north Eugene.
The new donations drop-off location at 2699 Roosevelt Boulevard in Eugene will open to receive donations on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and keep those hours each day. Donations should no longer be taken to Silke Field. St. Vincent de Paul will begin managing the donation location and overall process.
The Lane Events Center should not receive donations. Any donations previously delivered to the Lane Events Center will be moved to the new donation location.
