Claire Crawford, left, and Cheyenne Green have led Pleasant Hill volleyball to the state playoffs the past two seasons, and spent most of the 2024 season as the No. 1 team in Class 3A. Both players earned first-team all-league honors again this year.
Carter Bengtson won another Class 4A boys state title this season. He earned another spot on the 2024 all-league first-time roster.

Residents already thrilled to have the nation’s No. 1 college football team in their backyard are now looking forward to having the NFL’s Monday Night Football game on Dec. 9 played in Springfield. What a season for area football fans.
