Ray Jones was born in Jessieville, Ark. on March 15, 1944. He passed away in Springfield, Ore. on July 22, 2022 after a long fight with pneumonia.
After graduating from Thurston High School, Ray entered the army. While serving in Germany, he worked as a Morse Code Interceptor. Ray worked at Weyerhaeuser until it shut down. Ray worked at Lane Community College for the Instructional Computing department as a Network Support Specialist.
