Eric Irby Robinson, 64, died at home in Cottage Grove, Ore. on April 2, 2021 of cancer.
He was born in Munich, Germany on May 16, 1956 to William and Elizabeth (Archer) Robinson. Eric graduated from Clover Park High in Tacoma, Wash. and Washington State University.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Diane (Wells) Robinson; daughter Amanda (Travis); Thomas (Carla); Emily (Jose); his three treasured grandchildren; sister Tammy in South Korea, and his brother Skip Cable from B.C., Canada.
Eric drove a truck for four million SAFE miles in his 25-plus years of driving. He is a lifelong fan of the San Francisco Giants and taught the entire family to love the game of baseball.
Being a driver, most of his friends are up and down I-5 so we will be having a memorial BBQ in July. He was met at Heaven’s door by Sham and Smarty, the two best dogs ever! Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel.
