Deputies arrest three during burglary near Veneta

VENETA – On March 20 at 2:30 p.m., a Lane County Sheriff’s deputy observed a pickup and trailer parked on private property in the 88000 block of Central Road, west of Eugene near Veneta. The gate was damaged, and the pickup was not associated with the address.

Several deputies and K9 Ripp responded to assist in searching the large property, which included several commercial buildings. During the search, deputies detained three individuals who were loading items from inside a building onto the trailer. Following additional investigation, all three were arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail on various charges.

Max James Trezona, 36, of Coburg, was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree trespass, and third-degree theft. Justin Wayne Arbogast, 42, also of Coburg, faced the same charges. Amanda Threasa Thomas, 36, of Eugene, was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree trespass, third-degree theft, possession of burglary tools, and unlawful possession of fentanyl (a misdemeanor).
