Sensei R. Vicente Rubio, who has been the coordinator for a number of exercise and Aikido classes at the Cobalt Activities Center in Creswell, recently led the project of creating a floating dance floor in the building. Funds for building the floor came from a $5,000 grant from the Siletz Tribe. Pictured is Rubio posing in front of work that was being done on the floating floor last week. A top layer of plywood was added on top of the foam this past weekend.
