Grove’s Bohemia Mining Days off, on again, now with ‘Spirit’

CHRONICLE FILE PHOTO The Ore Cart races proved to be a popular event the past few years. A group of community leaders are attempting to host an event that keeps the spirit of Cottage Grove's Old West history alive – and gain more community involvement.

COTTAGE GROVE – Since the Bohemia Mining Days board announced its inability to put on the Grove’s annual BMD celebration last month, opting to skip this year and hopefully come back in 2025, a group of community members have decided to put on a “Spirit of BMD” event July 19-21.
