Pleasant Hill’s Gavin Inglish wins Athlete of the Week

Pleasant Hill’s Gavin Inglish, a sophomore, has been one of the top scorers in all of Class 3A. Inglish has averaged 21.2 points-per-game to lead the Billies to a 19-5 record and #9 ranking in the state. Some of Inglish’s top performances on the season include 32 points against Blanchet Catholic and Santiam Christian, 24 points, 10 rebounds, 6 steals, and 4 assists against Elmira, and 26 points and 10 rebounds against Harrisburg.

“He’s been great on the court and off the court. He’s a good leader, he verbalizes things off the court, and I try to give him that opportunity to talk to our team and to talk about things we need to improve on or things that we’re doing good,” Darwin Terry, Pleasant Hill head coach, said of Inglish earlier this season. “He’s a really good leader off the court, and on the court. He knows that, and he’s our go to guy.”
