Library, museum seeks input on future services

SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Public Library & History Museum is inviting community members to help shape the future of library and museum services by participating in its 2026 User Survey.

The survey will help inform future priorities for programs, collections, exhibits, services, and community initiatives. Feedback is welcomed from everyone, including frequent visitors, occasional users, and residents who have never visited the Library or History Museum.

“We want to hear from everyone in our community,” said Library and Museum Director Emily David. “The Library and History Museum exist to serve the people of Springfield. Whether you visit us every week or have never walked through our doors, your perspective matters. This survey is an opportunity for residents to tell us what is most important to them and help shape the future of these community resources.”

The survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and will remain open through Aug. 15, 2026.
