SPRINGFIELD – As part of the Springfield Library’s annual outdoor multicultural Summer Reading Celebration, Makola Performing Arts featured internationally acclaimed artist Okaidja Afroso at Fountain Plaza on July 8. The event highlighted community through music, dance, and storytelling.
Following this, the Noche Cultural Preview on July 15 showcased the vibrant musical and dance traditions of Mexico and Latin America.
