I am proud to represent District 12. In my opinion, it’s the best district in Oregon. The people here are hardworking, honest, and deeply committed to their families and communities.
Spending time in District 12, I’ve had real conversations with folks from every corner. What I’ve learned is what I already knew. How did I know? Because I’m one of them. I was born right here in District 12, 57 years ago. I’m a grandpa to five, a dad to three, a husband of 36 years to my high school sweetheart, a multi business owner, a volunteer, and a churchgoer. Just like the people in this district.
We aren’t asking the state of Oregon for anything unreasonable. We want fair taxes, a good education for our children, support our local businesses, and the freedom to live our lives without unnecessary interference.
Instead, many feel like they’re being overlooked, or even punished for simply trying to live, work, and provide for their families.
Day after day, after a hard and honest day’s work, folks still find time to give back. To their neighbors, their schools, their churches, and their community. That says everything about District 12.
My promise to you is simple: I would be honored to continue to fight for you. I will stand for fairness, common-sense policies, and the values that make this district strong. I will listen, show up, and do the work.
District 12 deserves nothing less.
