Don’t vote for David Loveall in May 2026. A commissioner’s most basic job is to exercise sound judgment. It seems every recent story published about Lane County Commissioner David Loveall reveals a catastrophic lack of these qualities.
From reportedly carrying a rifle on Springfield’s Main Street during a Black Lives Matter protest in 2020 to allegedly making sexist remarks to a top official, he seems to consistently demonstrate poor decision-making.
Judgment isn’t a minor skill; it is the core requirement of the job. Without it, a commissioner cannot be effective or trustworthy. On this fundamental metric, Loveall has proven himself repeatedly unfit for the office he holds. Please join me in rejecting David Loveall for Lane County Commissioner.
