PublicHouse at 418 A St., Springfield announces its Annual Bourbon Street Fest from Wednesday, Feb. 11, to Fat Tuesday, Feb. 17. This event celebrates the spirit of New Orleans with a weeklong immersive experience featuring New Orleans-style food specials, Bourbon Street cocktails, specialty bourbon barrel-aged beers, and live music.
Guests can enjoy a variety of New Orleans-inspired dishes from five unique food vendors. Offerings include Andouille Sausage with Peppers from The Nave Kitchen, a Shrimp Po’boy from Moi Poki Grill, Chicken & Sausage Gumbo from Black Market BBQ, and Harissa Shrimp & Grits from Shalosh.
The Whiskey Lab will serve classic cocktails like the Sazerac and Hurricane, while the Beer Hall will feature a selection of bourbon-barrel-aged beers and ciders.
Live music will entertain attendees each night, starting with Skip Jones & The Spirit of New Orleans at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 11. Other highlights include Natsukashii Soul on Feb. 13 and a Fat Tuesday celebration with Joe McFarlane on Feb. 17.
