■ SPRINGFIELD: The Millers boys and girls travel to the Nick Lutz invitational at Siuslaw to compete on Friday-Saturday. They’ll face off against Amity, Churchill, Coquille, Cottage Grove, Dayton, Elmira, Gilchrist, Gold Beach, Junction City, La Pine, Mohawk, Newport, North Lake, Pleasant Hill, Sheldon, Sheridan, Siletz Valley, Siuslaw/Mapleton, South Eugene, South Umpqua, Triangle Lake, and Waldport. Here, the girls will be looking to carry some momentum from last week into this one after their sixth place finish at the Paul Larson Invite. Look for Haley Siders (120) to continue her dominance in this one, as she’s shown she can compete, and win, against anybody this year.
■ THURSTON: The Colts boys and Girls travel to Redmond this weekend to face off in the Oregon Wrestling Classic. Competing alongside the Colts are Baker/Powder Valley, Banks, Bend, Caldera, Camas Valley, Cascade, Clackamas, Coquille, Douglas, Eagle Point, Elgin, Estacada, Forest Grove, Glide, Grants Pass, Harrisburg, Hidden Valley, Illinois Valley, Lowell, Madras, Marshfield, McLoughlin, McMinnville, Molalla, Mountain View, Mountainside, Newberg, North Marion, North Valley, Philomath, Redmond, Regis, Roseburg, Santiam Christian, Scappoose, Scio, Silverton, Sprague, Summit, Sutherlin, Tillamook, Toledo, Willamina, and Yamhill-Carlton.
■ COTTAGE GROVE: The Lions compete in the Nick Lutz Invitational this weekend at SIuslaw. Jeffrey Conklin (132) is undefeated this season, and he’ll likely continue that streak here. Others to watch out for in this one are Michael Hoye (106) on the boys side, and Boston Kent (135) for the girls.
■ PLEASANT HILL: The Billies also travel to Siuslaw to compete in the Nick Lutz Invitational this weekend. Kamdyn Greene (120), Nolan Perkins (126), Ryder Swaim (285) are all coming off a big week at the Special District-3 Duals last week; if they can replicate that this weekend, the Billies boys will likely place in the Top 8.
