If residents have a leak during the winter months, they would be billed wastewater services for the water that’s lost. There is a way to get help when this happens so people aren’t paying for services they didn’t use.
If a homeowner finds a leak, call the Wastewater Billing Department to get the process going: Springfield 541-726-3696, Eugene 541-682-4900.
Once the repair is complete and water use returns to normal, they will credit the person’s account.
Please address leaks quickly because credits are available for only up to 12 months.
