COTTAGE GROVE – The Downtown Cottage Grove window decorating contest, sponsored by Cottage Grove Art Walk, was a success, with more businesses participating than in the past, making it a challenging experience for the judges, resulting in two ties. The winners included 1st place for the Bank Building, which received $100; a tie for 2nd place for the Flower Basket and Tattoo Nouvelle, each awarded $75; and a tie for 3rd place for Goodbar Books and Cottage Grove Art Collective (AWE), each receiving $50. The People’s Choice award went to Rosebud, which earned $75.
