SPRINGFIELD – For 39 years, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Hospice has remembered loved ones with gifts of light on a beautiful Christmas tree.
Community members are encouraged to join us for this ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. in the hospital lobby of PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend, 3333 RiverBend Drive, Springfield. It includes poetry, music, the reading of names and lighting the dedicated tree in the RiverBend hospital lobby.
This event is open to anyone in our community who is grieving the death of a loved one.
If you would like your loved one’s name to be read during the ceremony, please submit the name by Dec. 1 to Sacred Heart Hospice by emailing [email protected] or call the Sacred Heart Hospice Bereavement team at 458-205-7489. Please provide your name, contact information, the name of your loved one(s) and correct pronunciation.
This is a special time to remember loved ones during the holiday season through readings, music, and the lighting of the dedicated Light Up a Life Tree.
