SPRINGFIELD – Rose Children’s Theater will open its production of “Matilda” on Friday, with performances running from Nov. 7-9 and Nov. 14-16 at the Wildish Theater, 630 Main St., Springfield. The show features youth actors from Lane County. Adapted from the award-winning Broadway hit, “Matilda the Musical Jr.” follows a brilliant young girl who discovers her power to change her destiny.
Rose Children’s Theater’s Matilda opens this Friday. The production runs Nov. 7–9 and Nov. 14–16, with eight performances showcasing some of Lane County’s youth actors. From Matilda’s fearless imagination to Miss Trunchbull’s outrageous tyranny, this show is fun and magical.
Matilda the Musical Jr. is adapted from the award-winning Broadway hit.
The story follows a brilliant young girl who discovers her power to change her destiny and the world around her.
