PREVIEWS
#17 COTTAGE GROVE (5-3-1)
Kicking off: The Lions wind down their season this week against Junction City and North Bend. They sit at the No. 3 spot in the Sky-Em league. The top-16 spots automatically receive a postseason berth; the Lions may have to rally for their last remaining games to fight for that spot in the rankings.
#10 CRESWELL (11-2)
Kicking off: With an MVC title on the horizon, a top-10 Class 3A spot, and 71 goals scored, the Bulldogs are in prime position for the postseason. They need to win their last league game against Crosshill Christian. Their last regularly scheduled game of the season next, this Monday against South Umpqua, will be a challenge.
#48 PLEASANT HILL (2-7-1)
Kicking off: The Billies close out conference and their season this Tuesday against Sisters. The Billies are seventh in the league this year, with no postseason berth. It has been a tough year for coach Ryota Sugitani, who dealt with a roster of mostly freshmen and sophomores.
#10 SPRINGFIELD (6-3-2)
Kicking off: The Millers close out the Midwestern League this week against Thurston this Thursday and then on the road at Crater on Saturday. If they continue without a loss, they might earn another title.
#28 THURSTON (3-7-2)
