SPRINGFIELD – According to a press release, PeaceHealth will be transitioning the Woodfield Station Clinic at 2846 Willamette St., to a primary care site and end walk-in care at the location.
Currently, the Woodfield Station sees primary care and walk-in patients. Walk-in care will end on Oct. 20. The walk-in care clinician based there will move to the PeaceHealth Urgent Care at University District.
“With the University District urgent care location nearby, we feel it is a better use of space to focus our Woodfield Station clinic on primary care and expand access in South Eugene,” said Dr. Kim Ruscher, Chief Medical Officer for PeaceHealth Oregon.
PeaceHealth is recruiting for two additional primary care providers to expand access at the Woodfield location. Dr. Devin Lee will continue to practice and see his current patients there, according to the release.
PeaceHealth Urgent Care at University District, at 1200 Hilyard St., is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m.–8 p.m. for walk-in care and accepts all forms of insurance.
