SPRINGFIELD – The annual “Light of Liberty” fireworks celebration is relocating to Hamlin Sports Complex on July 3, and will follow a Drifters baseball game with special ticket discounts.
The Drifters are partnerning with Team Springfield (SUB, City of Springfield, Willamalane Park & Recreation District, and Springfield Public Schools) to make all general admission tickets 50% off.
Team Springfield staffers are working on expanding the experience, and more details will be released once they are finalized, said Jasmine Williams, assistant general manager with the Drifters.
