COTTAGE GROVE – Cottage Theatre will soon present the Oregon premiere of “Nevermore – The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe” from June 6 to 22.
Written and composed by Jonathan Christenson, this macabre musical invites audiences to delve into the grim world of the legendary writer, combining original music and dramatic storytelling inspired by Poe’s gothic poetry and prose.
Directed by Kory Weimer, the show explores themes of loss, addiction, and abandonment through poignant melodies and stunning visual imagery, transporting attendees to a mesmerizing place where reality and imagination collide.
With tickets priced at $29 for adults and $15 for youth, performances are scheduled for Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.
Note that the production deals with mature themes and may not be suitable for young children.
