Cecil L. Lockard, Jr. passed away on October 13, 2024, in Eugene, Oregon. Also known to family and close friends as “Bud,” he was born in Cottage Grove, Oregon, on October 27, 1955, to parents Cecil and Shirley Lockard.
Cecil graduated from Creswell High School in 1973 and worked as a boilermaker/welder for many years. As a lifelong Oregonian, he enjoyed fishing and hunting throughout his life. The highlight of his life was spending time with family and friends.
Bud is survived by his sister, Monica Knight, and three nephews. He was preceded in death earlier this year by his sister, DeVone Monsive. Cecil is also survived by his two (step) daughters, Allison (Todd) Wagnon and Holly (Zach) Lee, along with six grandchildren, his pride and joy!
His final resting place will be at the Creswell Pioneer Cemetery.
