■ My Willamette Kids Trunk or Treat, 5:30-7 p.m., 2500 W. 18th Ave., Eugene. Free and safe community event.

■ 5th Annual Halloween at Creswell Grange Trick-or-Treat, 3-7 p.m., 274 W. Oregon Ave.

■ Fairytale Trunk or Treat, 6-8 p.m., 332 58th St., Springfield.

■ Morning Coffee: Community, Crafts, and Chats, 10:30 a.m., Overlap Self-care Super Store, 136 S. 6th St., Springfield. Bring your own coffee and craft project. Free, 18+.

■ LTD’s Day of the Dead Celebration, 5:30 p.m., Rosa Parks Plaza, 10th & Olive 1080 Willamette St.

SATURDAY, NOV. 2

■ Pumpkin Spice Holiday Bazar, 9 a.m., 84735 Flat Head Rd., Pleasant Hill. Handcrafted gifts, homemade pies and pastries, fall beverages, Smok’n Gingers B-B-Q, and more. All proceeds help the Belarus-Eugene Team.

■ South Valley Farmers Market, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 7th and Main St., Cottage Grove. Local produce, food, live music, arts, and more.

■ Free Compost Workshop, 10 a.m.- noon, BRING Recycling, 4446 Franklin Blvd., Eugene. The workshop will cover how composting works and more. For more info, contact (541) 344-5859 or [email protected].  

■ Bunnies N Books with Blue Barn Farm & Sanctuary, 11 a.m.- noon, 33705 E. Harvey Ln, Creswell. There will be reading for half an hour, and then rabbit time will follow. Spots are limited to five families and meetings in the barn. Another 1-2 p.m. session is available for ages five and up. This is a free event, but sign-up is required at www.bluebarnsanctuary.org. 

■ Memorial Fundraiser, A Celebration of Lucie, 1:30-4:30 p.m., Cottage Bowl, 740 Row River Rd., Cottage Grove. Doubles tournament, four games, and $35 Each/$70 per team. There is a potluck and raffles.

■ Hope in the Grove Fall Festival, 5-7 p.m., 301 S. 6th St., Cottage Grove. This is a free family event with games, candy, and prizes.

■ Cottage Grove Library Deitrich Peters Speaker, 5:30 p.m., 700 E. Gibbs Ave. Peters will discuss Kalapuya culture. There will be flute music, culture talks, and question time. This event is best for ages eight and up.

SUNDAY, NOV. 3

■ Free Sunday Market, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., 810 W. 3rd Ave., Eugene. The line and hot food service will start at 11 a.m., and Sunday Market will begin at 1 p.m. All are welcome. 

■ Oregon Horse Rescue fundraiser dinner, 5-7 p.m., Springfield Eagles, 1978 Main St. Music, dancing, and food for $7.50. The menu includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, and dessert. 

MONDAY, NOV. 4 

■ The Creswell Community Singers rehearsals, 2:30-4 p.m., Creswell Presbyterian Church, 75 S. 4th St. New members are welcome without audition. More info: Joan Travis Kelley, 541-895-4425.

■”Over The Garden Wall” watch party, noon-8 p.m., Made By You, 715 Main St., Springfield. This event, which is open to all ages, will showcase the entire animated series. 

TUESDAY, NOV. 5

■ Diabetes Support Group, 5-6 p.m., PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center, Springfield. Meets the first Tuesday of every month in the Demo Kitchen on the ground floor of the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute (OHVI). More info: Cecelia Jacobson, [email protected].
