COTTAGE GROVE – The election to recall councilors Alex Dreher, Mike Fleck, and Chalice Savage will be held July 30.
The deadline for new voters to register and participate in this election is July 9, and current voters can update their voter registration through July 30 at 8 p.m.
Ballots will be mailed to military and overseas voters July 5 and local and out-of-state voters July 11. The last day the county elections office will mail ballots is July 25, but ballots can still be picked up in person at the Lane County Clerk’s Office (Lane County Elections building) after July 25.
The two official ballot drop sites are the Cottage Grove Community Center at 700 E. Gibbs Ave. and the Lane County Clerk’s Office at 275 W. 10th Ave. These two locations will be open 24 hours/day from July 11-July 30 at 8 p.m. Ballots must be received or postmarked by July 30 at 8 p.m.
Although some election results may be available on a rolling basis, the election will be certified about a month after election day on Aug. 26.
