Bruno named ‘Top Dog’

SPRINGFIELD – Deputy Luke Thomas and K9 Bruno, above, from the Lane County Sheriff’s Office won this year’s K9 Competition, and K9 Bruno was named the Top Dog. The duo won by earning the most points throughout last Saturday afternoon’s event at Hamlin Middle School. This year’s competition was in honor of K9 Gryff, who passed away from cancer May 25 with his handler, officer Garcia-Cash, by his side.
