Last week’s “Game of Throws” event, an annual fundraising cornhole tournament benefiting Eugene/Springfield-based nonprofit organizations that advance area youth, helped raise $51,000 for Eugene-area nonprofits. A $10,000 donation was also made directly to the Kidsports Scholarship Fund.
There were over 200 participants and consideration by the foundation as one of the most successful IMA Foundation fundraising events its had in the PNW to date. The event was held at Kidsports Fieldhouse on Amazon Parkway in Eugene.
Game of Throws is one of IMA Foundation’s fastest-growing public fundraising events, inviting business partners, colleagues, members of the media, and employees to engage in friendly competition for a cause. In 2023, this event raised nearly $55k for Eugene-area nonprofits and saw 200+ participants.
