Frank Jackson

Frank Jackson, 87, of Eugene, passed away in February 2024.
Frank retired from both a Captain in the Eugene Fire Department after 31 years and a Navy Battalion Medical Chief after 33 years. He also served as the President of the local 851 Firefighters union.
Frank loved baseball. He was an umpire here in Lane County from 1964 until 1994. Frank managed to raise a large family while accomplishing all of this. He is survived by a sister in Washington; a brother in Texas; six children in Oregon; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. He will be missed not only by his family but by the community he served so well.
