■ During the week of Nov. 13, members of the Springfield Police Department worked with loss prevention personnel from the Target store on Gateway Street to address retail theft. During a four-hour period, six people were arrested for stealing items including electronics, clothing, and housewares. None of the people arrested made any attempt to pay for the items they had taken from inside the store.
