COTTAGE GROVE – PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Community Medical Center will welcome Jason Hawkins as its new chief administrative officer (CAO) on Nov. 1.
Hawkins will remain the CAO for PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center in Florence and will now serve in a combined role, overseeing operations at both campuses.
Hawkins steps into the role previously held by Alicia Beymer. She will move into a new position as CAO for both PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Centers, University District and RiverBend.
Hawkins led Peace Harbor to its first five-star rating from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services earlier this year – the highest rating possible.
“I am looking forward to supporting the Cottage Grove caregivers in the care they provide and continuing the great work that Alicia has done in recent years,” he said.
Hawkins previously served as CEO for Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, Pa. Hawkins received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pa., and a Master of Business Administration from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pa.
