Wiskow, 72, dies in head-on crash
COTTAGE GROVE – A Cottage Grove man has been identified as the victim in a fatal car crash on London Road that occurred on July 11.
Dean Allan Wiskow, 72, of Cottage Grove was killed when he was involved in a head-on collision near Milepost 11 on London Road around 3 a.m., according to LCSO.
Preliminary investigation reveals that a white Ford pickup had been driving south- bound on London Road when it failed to negotiate a curve. The pickup crossed into the oncoming lane and struck Wiskow’s Dodge pickup head-on.
Wiskow died at the scene and the driver of the Ford pickup was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
This crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lane County Sheriff’s Office at 541-682-4179 opt. 1.
