Cottage Grove High alums: Register for event by June 30
Did you graduate from Cottage Grove High School 50 or more years ago? Then you are a “member” of the Old Schoolmates Group and are invited to attend the festivities planned for Friday, Aug. 4 and Saturday, Aug. 5. A dinner will be held at CGHS on Friday with a social hour beginning at 5:30 p.m.; the cost is $18 per person.
Because we have not been able to hold a formal gathering for the past several years due to Covid, the classes of 1970, 1971, 1972, and 1973 will be welcomed into the group as part of a short program honoring all classes and those who have passed.
The next morning, Saturday the 5th, the Prospectors/Golddiggers will be serving breakfast at the Snapp House from 8:30-11 a.m. The cost is $12 per adult, $9 per child.
The organization will also be accepting donations that will allow us to grant one (or more) scholarships to a 2024 graduating senior. In 2018, three $1000 scholarships were given.
Registration forms are available at the CG library or by emailing [email protected]. Forms, along with payment, need to be turned in by June 30. More details are on the registration form.
We hope many former graduates will join us.
