Roberta ‘Betty’ Louise Fournier

Aug. 23, 1923 — April 27, 2023

Roberta “Betty” Louise Fournier was born to Robert and Elsie Stevenson on Aug. 23, 1923 in Cottage Grove, Ore. 

She married Robert I. Fournier on June 20, 1941. She had a great love for God and the Bible. She also loved caring for people. 

She enjoyed gardening and her beautiful rhododendrons. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and was an avid Oregon Ducks fan. She was an Avon Lady for over 35 years and her customers meant so much to her. 

She was preceded in death by four brothers: Jim, Terry, Corky, and Jackie; two sisters: Janet and Barbara; her husband, Robert I. Fournier; a son, R. Neil Fournier; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Fournier; and a son-in-law, Jim Dockery. 

She is survived by two sons: Gary Fournier, Brian (Deanna) Fournier; two daughters: Linda (Bruce) Copeland and Nadine (Mike) Fleck; a daughter-in-law, Molly Fournier; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved so very much.  

There will be a Celebration of Life on June 17 at 1 p.m. at Restoration Fellowship, 220 S. 42nd St., Springfield, OR, 97478 for all who wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Heart Hospice.

 Arrangements are in the care of Sunset Hills Funeral Home Cemetery and Crematorium.
