■ 2:09 pm: DHS307, CG area … Summary: A 12-year-old juvenile reported to police he was unhappy with how his mother verbally treated him after he left school sick. The mother felt the child was lying to get out of school. The juvenile reported no crimes and was advised of his minimal options. The mother was contacted and advised of this circumstance. There is no criminal element to this incident.
■ 3:59 pm: Burglary, 975 Johnson Ave. …Summary: No items were reported stolen or missing, however there was damage within the residence. There is questionable circumstances surrounding this report and no hard evidence proving a crime occurred.

■ 5:51 pm: Death investigation, 2111 Wilson Ave. … Summary: Officers responded to the report of a 72-year-old female who was cold to the touch and possibly deceased. SLFR medical personnel confirmed the female was deceased. Officers completed a death investigation and located nothing suspicious.
■ 8:28 pm: Minor in possession, Cottage Grove High School … Summary: The involved juvenile was found to be in possession of 3.7 gross grams including bag weight of flower marijuana, as well as two pipes, vape paraphernalia and other empty marijuana packages. The student was cited into peer court and released to his guardian with the citation being explained to both parties.
