With over 80 entries this coloring contest season, Chronicle judges had their work cut out for them. Judges Rachael Landi, Erin Tierney-Heggenstaller, Murphy the office parrotlet, and Noel and Denise Nash looked for overall completeness of coloring pages, creativity of backgrounds, overall use of color palettes, and attention to detail. Denise Nash created gift baskets that included gift certificates to Roaring Rapids, Bigfoot Fudge, sweet treats and art supplies.
