Bright Oak Meats donates to meal program

On Jan. 11 Bright Oaks Meats donated 17 smoked turkeys to the Ebbert Community Meals program to help support the ministry to the low income and unhoused community. 

Polar Plunge

RISE Services is participating in the Polar Plunge this year, put together by the Special Olympics, Saturday, Feb. 18, 10 a.m. -3 p.m., Maurie Jacobs Park at Fir Lane, Eugene 97404. Help raise awareness about disabilities. More info: plungeoregon.org

Ronald McDonald House

The PeaceHealth Heartfelt House has served 1,591 families for 15,387 free night stays. On Feb. 16,  residents are invited to tour, hear a presentation and enjoy a meal with volunteers. RSVP at 458-221-1385. Space is limited.
