• Springfield Public Library Foundation’s annual fundraiser, Books & Brew. The event is back in-person and in the library from 6-9 p.m. Listen to music, play games, and drink beer all while supporting the Springfield Public Library Foundation. Featuring networking reception, award show, and dinner. 

• Lunar New Year Celebration 2023, noon – 4 p.m., Springfield History Museum, 590 Main St. 

• Bingo and Valentines, noon – 2 p.m., Lane Community College, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Snacks will be provided. Help craft Valentine’s Day cards for Cherokee veterans.

• Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce’s 73rd annual awards and installation, 4:30 – 7:30 p.m, Richard E. Wildish Community Theater, 630 Main St. Award recipients will be announced and recognized during this event.

• Valentine’s Dance Social, 6 – 8 p.m., Willamalane Adult Activity Center, 215 W. C St., Ages 21+, Wear your best evening attire and follow along as dance instructor Lila leads a quick lesson in ballroom dance basics. Then, enjoy an evening of dancing, music, refreshments, and hors d’oeuvres.

• Flower Power Hour, 3:30 p.m., Creswell Library, 64 W. Oregon Ave. The library is celebrating International Flower Day by making flowers with buttons, cupcake liners, and popsicle sticks.
