Area library patrons no longer need to fumble in their wallet, bag, or purse to find their library card – all their library information is now at their fingertips with the Lane Libraries OR app on their smartphone.
The new app works at Lane County libraries including Springfield, Creswell, Cottage Grove and Fern Ridge, and joins the expanding list of apps offered by the library, including Libby and Mango languages.
“Patrons can search the catalog, place holds, check their due dates and parents can even add their children’s cards and easily move between them at check-out time,” said Springfield Public Library director Emily David.
